Emma & Yoann are one of the most loveliest couple's I have had the pleasure of meeting with in a long time. When I first met them to discuss their initial wedding plans, I knew that we were going to have an amazing day. The couple wanted to have a movie theme for their big day, with lots of lovely details and special moments to make their wedding day unique.
The couple, who are both French had invited family and friends to share their day with them. With most of the bridal party speaking little English, I knew I would have to brush up on my French a little to make sure we could get all the guests looking in the right direction for the group photographs!
Our day started at the Newton Park Hotel, where I was able to capture some photographs of both our beautiful bride Emma getting ready but also that of Groom Yoann who also was getting ready at the Hotel. The sun was shining on this beautiful May morning and so we were able to make the most of the Hotel's glorious gardens for some nice photographs of the Groom, his best man and ushers before the ceremony.
The ceremony itself took place in the Conservatory of the Hotel with friends and family at their side. Once the happy couple had exchanged their wedding rings, delivered to them by their gorgeous daughter Lea, we made our way outside into the beautiful sunshine for some a mixture of both relaxed and formal group photographs.
After a lovely three course meal, fabulous traditional French wedding games and an amazing set of English and French Speeches guests were able to relax into the evening celebrations. What better way to start the evening than with a truly amazing England v's France football match on the lawns at the back of the Hotel. A football match at a wedding is definelty a first for me but such an amazing spectacle to watch. All in all a truly fabulous day of celebrations for our lovely bride and groom. Many many congratulations to the newlyweds, Mr and Mrs Fournier!! I cannot thank you enough for letting me be a part of your amazing day! Here are just a few of the highlights from their day xx
