Hedy and Mitchell married in late November at the impressive boutique Cathedral Quarter Hotel on St Mary's Gate in Derby. The couple exchanged their wedding vows in a relaxed but elegant wedding ceremony held in the 1900 Grade II listed Hotel. Bride Hedy chose beautiful and unique paper bouquets and buttonholes instead of flowers, which I am sure you will agree are simply stunning. Pausing for a few photographs on the amazing Scaglioli staircase, guests then enjoyed relaxing reception drinks whilst I captured a mixture of candid and posed photographs with the couple outside.
The couple's love of literature set the tone for the wedding breakfast with gorgeous stacks of literary classics and quirky vintage china making impressive and pretty centre pieces for all the tables. A highly amusing set of speeches were enjoyed by family and friends before the couple treated their guests to a stunning three course dinner and fantastic disco to round off the day's celebrations. Congratulations to the new Mr and Mrs Emery. It was a real pleasure and honour to be a part of your special day xx
